Am I listening to New Moon play in the background? Most likely. Am I wearing a Team Edward crewneck as I type this? Extremely likely. Did I think “ohhhh twilight vibes“ during this session? Unconditionally and irrevocably - yes.
I had the honor if meeting these two newly engaged and soon-to-be parents on a local Facebook group. Having just had our second baby this past year, I know the stresses of preparing for an arrival - so it truly is an honor to capture these moments of love and excitement while these weeks fly by!
They were incredibly patient with me as I got to work with movement (dancing) and work on some double exposures (see below:)
Although technically a “maternity” focus, I still like to include couples details and poses: hands reaching for eachother, embracing, etc. This field reminded me of the Twilight scenes during the winter; how perfect Washington State is for my style of editing and captures!
After delivering these, I’m going to have to try not to catch baby fever, because their little one is going to be STUNNING! Congratulations, new friends!
